Okay, the serialized fiction is a go.
During a break earlier today, I set up a new Substack for my serialized fiction. I've always wanted to serialize some fiction, so I'm doing it.
For the time being, it's free.
So beginning on Thursday, April 10, you can read the novel I'm working on right now at Your Morning Serial.
Catchy name, eh? Maybe. We'll see.
If you’re already interested in my fiction (or curious), you can also subscribe there. Did I mention it’s free?
Because I write so "fast," I'm experimenting.
For this novel, I’ll post three chapters at a time (only around 4500 words total) every other day until you have the whole novel. So posting every other day, that should take 8 or 9 posting days and 16 to 18 calendar days.
You'll be reading the written, cycled, and spell-checked chapters. But they won't have been proofed by my first reader, so you might still catch a few glitches here and there. (I'm infamous for dropping "ed" off the end of past-tense verbs.)
Thanks for coming along on the ride. It should be a boatload of fun.
Be sure to stay tuned for your next free short story coming up this Friday!
Harvey
And, a sub class called potato chips. Just can’t read just one.
Let me take a stab at it, Harvey. Your first serialized fiction will be entitled "The Cereal Killer." Just being corny and flaky. Look forward to it, my friend.
